587: A Good Place to Start when You're Feeling Low and Slow

Image
Hi all, Today I had an interesting experience specifically because I seemed to face this resistance to my day. And I say that is interesting because yesterday the question was posed in a discussion about what is our purpose and reason for waking up in the morning. So I found it just fascinating that I would experience a day where I could have easily stayed in bed, stuck in an energy , feeling lethargic and apathetic, not really feeling like doing anything. Quite low and slow. without any reason for waking up. So when I noticed this was my experience, despite having things I could do and sort of wanted to do, I resisted the heck out of it, so I asked myself, "what is my purpose today?" "Why did I get out of bed today?" And the question would go for every day... why do I get up in the mornings? What is my motivation? What is my reason for living? Sounds like a silly question to ask ourselves, but for me in my life, I see it as an absolute necessary question ...

579: "Thanks for Sharing!"

Image
I've seen this statement all over the internet - especially within the community in which I watch a lot of vlogs and read a lot of blogs. Often times someone replies only saying "Thanks for Sharing". And while it does seem like a simple statement - which I've had my judgments towards, as I 'thought' it was lacking any real feedback, I realized it is actually perfect. When I read a blog from someone in the Desteni community, or watch one of their videos, my life is always enriched. I learn something from their sharing - something they faced and walked, something they realized, or even just their perspective on some topic... it adds value to my life as it contributes to my process, my understanding and my view of my own life. So while sometimes in the past I've had reactions to this response, "thanks for sharing", I can see how specific it is because sharing is caring and I am thankful for those that share. When you share yourself within a...

574: Programmed to Punish

Image
Continuing from the previous two recordings . I investigate deeper into some reactions towards an individual in my life, and how they acted as a trigger to open up more relationships I have developed towards the word punishment, and how it's manifested in this world. There is a lot to uncover if we don't accept our 'first impressions' and dare to SEE MORE of what's Here. 568: Process Update: The Effects of the Desteni I Process

Image
I have incorporated, for almost a decade, very specific tools and applications that have released me from various behavioral and mental limitations and what I am finding more and more is a self-trust to face this world as it is, without judgment, and within self-direction, as I have done with my own mind. I invite you to reflect on your own life, and if you are not satisfied with yourself, your relationships, your job, your family... dare to consider WHY and dare even more to change it. Here I share where I'm at at the moment, and in vlogs to come, I will share my perspective on what currently keeps people from fully enjoying their lives, and from fulfilling their utmost potentials. As always, I invite your feedback, comments, and questions. Thanks for walking with! 560: Shattering the Illusory Image

Image
Yesterday I noticed some emotion come up in relation to the last few blogs - this relationship towards my body, and the points I've been sharing on it - feeling a bit like I've shared 'too much' and in a way blame towards myself for 'making it a big deal'. It's like when you put the focus on it the way I have in dedicating the past few blogs to it, you are shedding a lot of light on something you've for awhile kept in the dark and in doing so, one could sabotage oneself to keep it in the dark by thinking "you shouldn't share that" and "you're making it a bigger problem than it is." It's like the focus of my attention doesn't want to be the actual focus because in that focus, all is seen, or at least that's the process. To see it all because in that seeing, that awareness , one can understand it and ultimately change it. And so the reaction of "it's too much attention on this one, little point" is...

466: Becoming the Living Word: Presence

Image
The other day I decided to pick a word I would practice throughout the day - this is the process of becoming Living Words . The word I decided upon was presence/present. The reason I chose this particular word was because I saw it would be most supportive for me, in terms of where I'm at in my current process, and who I am throughout my days. So presence was chosen to assist and support myself to become more aware of myself in each moment, to bring myself back to the application of breathing - to let go of any thoughts or future projections, and to simply be in the moment; engaging in what was going on around me. Though what I found almost immediately was a physical discomfort throughout my day. My partner and I were driving to the nearby town to do some shopping - it's like a mini road trip I always look forward to. Though sitting in the car during the drive, and walking through the stores, it was like I was physically all twisty and turny and couldn't find a poin...

449: Giving Yourself Purpose

Image
Growing up I had in a way purpose already laid out for me. I was told I would be an actress or in the entertainment industry. I always just accepted this idea, never really questioned it, as I ‘thought’ this was also something I wanted. I went to acting classes, modeling classes, different acting retreats to LA and Las Vegas. I had resumes, and comp cards and a portfolio. As I got older and into my twenties I started going more actively on auditions and even getting jobs here and there – a commercial, a couple runway shows, and a hair show. After awhile of this I decided it wasn’t really something I actually wanted to do – though while I was in it, I thought I could really make a name for myself, and use that position to bring awareness to the world about things that really mattered. I wouldn't abuse my position of power, I would use it as a force of good for the world. But then I decided against it because ultimately I felt as though I was chasing a dream that wasn't min...

334: Victimizing Myself within my own Decision

Image
In the previous blog post , I was discussing this point of 'time' and how I was using the excuse of 'no time' or 'not enough time' as the reason I had not yet incorporated a new action in my day to day living, although it was something I had been thinking about doing for some time and essentially saw the support of it and did want to do it. So while writing this out, I realized that I did in fact have the time, as the physical reality as my actions showed that I was using my time for certain things that were not necessary and could be exchanged for this new point I wanted to add to my schedule. So that is the first point of support or the first point I realized within this is that I can trust the physical reality - my physical action and that the thoughts or back chats coming up within my mind that tell me "I don't have enough time" is not valid because in physical reality it was evident that I in fact did. So a point of support for myself an...

243: Some Perspective from the Cats

Image
Here I want to share with you an interview that I listened to last night, from EQAFE - which is an awesome site sharing tons of interviews and perspective and support for those interested in getting to know themselves, the mind, life, reality - all things considered. I listened to one of the Animals Series, Cats and Self Discovery part 3 - and this interview was not only timely and specific for what I have been/am currently facing in my life, it offered practical support that I can apply in my own life, to start actually living changes that I see I can and that are required to really get myself in a standing of becoming self directive. You see, recently I have been having a lot of reactions to my own mind; to all the things going on 'in there', things coming up, thoughts, emotions and feelings and 'feeling' very overwhelmed in relation to it all. Within it, believing there is no possible way I can 'get through this all'. And while I was hanging on fo...

156: Day 13 of 21-Day Breathing Challenge - Being Self Honest about Not Breathing

Image
I have started and erased this blog 3 times now. What I see is that I want to write a blog related to 'breathing' because of the '21 day breathing challenge' I am walking, so it's like I want to express some kind of profound realization or insight I uncovered today with/as breathing. When the truth is, today was not an effective day of breathing. It was an effective day of doing things that required to be done, but in terms of slowing myself with/as breath, I see I could have been more effective. And so instead of addressing at or looking at those moments that I did not stop and breathe, bringing myself back here, instead I want to 'pretend' all is well in my process and do not actually looking at the truth of myself. So interesting point because of what I addressed in yesterday's blog, where I see this point of attempting to cover up or ignore what is actually going on, 'behind the scenes' but instead of dealing with it/sorting it out, its ins...

142- Learning How to be Self Directive as the Journey to Life

Image
Tonight I am looking at this point that I saw within me in the last couple days. I have been busy, up to this point, in my Journey to Life Blogs walking through specific moments, wherein each moment took many days to go through, and so every night that I would sit myself down to write a blog, I essentially would have 'direction' as to what I should write my blog about. So there was no point of "what should I write about?" because I had already laid it out for myself in the previous days/blogs. So while I got closer to walking through all the points, I saw that I would no longer have this point of direction given to myself, already here waiting for me, I would have to be self-directive in my writing in deciding what I am going to support myself with seeing /writing/forgiving/etc. This brought up some slight fear and resistance wherein I went into this point of, "oh no - now what will I write about" and "I don't have anything to write about" ...
