688: Who Will I Be with a Year Off? Day 1 of Maternity Leave

Image
March 20, 2021 Today is my first day on maternity leave. I actually get a year off to have my baby and I will get financial support from the Canadian government during that time. To me this is remarkable. I come from a country that does not have such a social support system and really the only thing ensured is your employer can't fire you if you take up to 6 weeks off. But you get no pay or other support. It's tragic really.  And here I find myself in Canada being given a whole year to birth and be with my baby. It's not a perfect system of course... I worked in a position that provided me enough income that the financial support I will get on maternity leave will not cripple me financially and is a basic income that I can live on. If I made any less I don't know if I could take the whole year off.  I want to document and share this process - whether it be in my vlog or blogs - I'm seeing this new stage of maternity leave/motherhood as quite an opportunity and I wan...

206: Do we Care About those that Go Without their Basic Human Rights? Or Just Ourselves?

Image
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to exist within a limited version of myself wherein when I am faced without a basic human right , such as electricity - to exist within loneliness and isolation and not once consider this as the reality for many other people currently existing on this same planet as me - wherein they constantly go without basic human rights, such as electricity, and that is "just the way it is" and so within this - never question and wonder or contemplate why the hell I would have this type of right and others do not and so within this I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to only consider electricity a basic human right as a comfort and practical tool for efficient living on earth once it is removed from my reality, where I no longer have access to it, and only then consider this is the same for many others who are not in the same position as me - where I am comfortable within the current economic system as I have ...

103 - Responsibility and Education

Image
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to resist school work while I am in taking classes I forgive myself that iH ave accepted and allowed myself to judge myself as not good enough within the process of education I forgive myself that iH ave accepted and allowed myself to believe I don’t know how to apply myself/get done the responsibilities within school work I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to put off school work to the last minute wherein I then make it ok within my mind that I am turning assignments in late – only justifying my postponement on the work I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not give myself anytime to apply myself within school work I forgive myself that ih ave accepted and allowed m yself to make school work more complicated then it actually is, thus allow myself to resist doing it within this definition, instead of realizing that I have applied myself effectively, efficiently and pract...

Set Yourself Free - Write Yourself Out

Writing Yourself TO Freedom What is This? What does it imply and how does it work? Writing yourself to freedom is as simply as it sounds. Writing out oneself to self - looking as who oneself is in fact, as thoughts feelings and emotions. It's having a conversation with oneself - but a self directive conversation exposing to oneself what is allowed within the inner and outer reality of self. It's a tool used within those Walking with Desteni - to investigate who one is in this Reality. What thoughts self participates within - what ideas and beliefs self hold. Who Self is in relation to everything else that is Here. Through writing it out - we are able then to see Who we are. To get to freedom - This takes Self Honesty. Self Honesty is to be able to honestly look at what thoughts we carry - what judgments we hold - what perceptions we believe in and give power to. For me - It has supported me in 'letting go' of the shit that mulls around in my head. Thoughts tha...

"Heaven is a Fairytale for those Afraid of the Dark"

This statement was recently made in an interview by Stephen Hawkins - a physicist. He goes on to say that the Human brain is simply a computer and that when the components run out - it shuts down. "There is no heaven or afterlife for a browkdown computer" Which is fascinating - if one have a Self Honest look at how we as Humans 'operate'. We are machines, programmed and condition to have a specific perspective, which we believe is our 'uniqueness' - yet we are merely copies of DNA transferred from past generations. More specifically - this idea that there is a Heaven - a place 'waiting for us' for when we die. This would imply we are not satisfied with where we are now. And the fact that Death exists - we desire to explain the purpose and reason of LIfe and why we are Here. Suppose we would not have to do this - if Life was actually Lived and not just the Fear of Survival. Currently - this is how we experience ourselves, whether we have ackno...
